Semester in Seoul South Korea

I am a Visiting Professor at Hongik University in Seoul South Korea this winter and spring.  Originally my experience began as a Fulbright Scholar,  but on March 20, 2020 the Fulbright Program moved all their current grantees to alumni status because of the COVID19 pandemic. Instead of returning home, I chose to stay and finish my semester at Hongik. I am teaching Culture & Arts Management and Cultural Planning, in addition to conducting field research with the graduate students in my cultural planning class.  I will be using this Blog to document and share my experiences.  Please join me in exploring this beautiful country as I engage with a new group of students, colleagues and friends.
